Jim is responsible for portfolio-wide leasing oversight at Cruzan, interfacing with Cruzan’s lenders, equity partners, and third-party brokerage groups. He also provides strategic support to the acquisitions, asset management, property management, and construction management teams. Jim originally joined Cruzan in 2014 and rejoined the firm in 2026 following a two-year tenure as Portfolio Manager for the City of San Diego. Prior to joining Cruzan, Jim held sales and marketing roles in several industries and was the general manager of a New York restaurant from 2008 to 2012. Jim attended Tufts University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and was also a co-captain of the NCAA Division III Men’s Lacrosse team.
